A classic breakfast dish with a casserole twist
I’d seen this recipe on Pinterest from Alyssa at infinetaste.com and immediately wanted to try it. If I can make a classic dish that’s easy to prep ahead, and bake it when needed,..I think that’s just fantastic! When visiting with family recently, I made this biscuit and gravy casserole, and it was a hit!
It has easy to follow steps and comes together perfectly.
I mean..who doesn’t love a good sausage gravy with biscuits? I know I do! 🙋🏼♀️
Tips
I’ll keep this short and sweet!
we loved this recipe, but there are a couple things to keep in mind.
Since we were staying at an Air BNB I didn’t have too many pans to choose from so I used a handy cast iron pan. It worked great! But would be able to feed more with a 9×13.
With the smaller pan I chose not to break of the biscuits in pieces and I love the way it turned out.
More gravy please!
If you are feeding a crowd, definitely double the gravy recipe and have more biscuits on hand.
Even with a single recipe add more milk, and seasonings as needed to make a bit more gravy.
