With notes of garlic, a bit of salt, and roasted in the oven, this roasted Brussels sprouts recipe will give you a bit of crispy ness on the outside and a warm tender sprout on the inside.
What is great about roasting veggies is you can follow the guidelines a few times and then customize the recipe to you and your families tastes. Roast longer for more tender veggies with burnt edges or roast for less time for a semi roasted tray of veggies with a little more chew and more of a fresh earthy vibe. It’s all good!

Roasted Brussels sprouts
Ingredients
- Fresh Brussels sprouts (1/2 a bag ) well rinsed and patted dry
- olive oil
- garlic powder to taste (start with 1 Tablespoon)
- salt (about 1 tablespoon)
Directions
- preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Rinse Brussels sprouts thoroughly, pulling back any loose leaves to be sure there is no dirt .
Cut the ends off and halve or quart any medium to large sprouts. - place clean Brussels sprouts on baking sheet evenly and generously drizzle with olive oil.
- sprinkle garlic powder and salt all over the sprouts, then using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix or roll the Brussels sprouts around so that they are evenly coated in the garlic salt mixture
- bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes checking often.
They should be fork tender and have some blackened edges.
